This video gives you an in depth look on how to obtain the disconnected side part with quiff.

Products used in video

Step 1

Using the Uppercut Deluxe Featherweight hair product scoop a generous amount of product onto your finger

Step 2

Smooth and spread the product evenly across your palms and fingers, this will ensure coverage when applying has maximum effect.

Step 3

Start by raking your fingers through your hair, make sure you do this away from the parting and lifting as you go (this works well at adding some volume).
Then using the palms of your hands thoroughly apply the featherweight product to the rest of your hair style.

Step 4

Move to the fringe area of your style. Using your finger tips for better control lift your fringe section to gain height and volume. Do this by working from Root to Tip.

Step 5

Time to break out the tools! Using the Uppercut Deluxe Quiff Roller, lift your fringe from root to tip before repeating this along your parting.

Step 6

Don’t put that sucker down! Still using your Uppercut Quiff Roller make sideways passes from your parting to comb your in to the shape you desire. This is best done if you work from the middle to the back of your head.

Step 7

If required, use your fingers to add texture to your fringe area. This is entirely up to you if you want that ruffle or further shaped effect or not.

Step 8

Lets finish this… Finally using your finger tips, gently tend to any stray hairs and press your fresh style into your desired position.

You’re Done!
Note if you don’t have a quiff roller you can use a comb to obtain similar results but as instructed we do find you get that look in the video far easier if you use the quiff roller.
