Saltskin Wetsuits

There's nothing worse than losing sight of your child while at the beach or at a surfing competition. It is quite common to find kids' wetsuits in block colours in shades of blue, grey and black which make it more difficult to identify your kid among the other youngsters. Saltskin is a young wetsuit brand that saw this problem and made sure that they have wetsuits that are brightly coloured and patterned. Let your child stand out among the crowd with Saltskin wetsuits - available at Yakwax with FREE UK delivery!

Saltskin Kids' Animal Print Wetsuits Wetsuits, Rash Vests and Changing Robes

Today's young water sports practitioners and beach-goers are lucky enough to find more interesting, unique and colourful wetsuits to wear at the beach and in the water. With animal prints and bold colours that can be easily spotted from afar, shorty and full wetsuits for kids have become a must-have staple for children who love to surf, swim, snorkel, wakeboard and other water sports and beachside activities.

One such brand that bridged the gap between the kid's wetsuit market and the need for fun, quirky designs is Saltskin. The usual challenge for parents is the often the difficulty of sliding their kids in a black wetsuit and then spotting them among the other kids at the beach and in the water. Many children do not enjoy wearing black or a dull, boring wetsuit that may also be ill-fitting and uncomfortable.

Saltskin's founders are parents themselves - they are husband and wife team Nick and Cheryl Toolan. The company is located in Chiswick and has started putting out these fun, colourful wetsuits, sun suits and changing robes in 2014. The wetsuits are made with 3/2mm sturdy and flexible neoprene which have flatlock stitching to ensure comfort and long-lasting wear. They also protect your children's delicate skin with SPF50 UV protection.

Visibility, Durability and Safety are Key Factors in Creating Saltskin Wetsuits, Robes, Towels and Rash Vests

Flexibility and durability are among the key factors to assure kids that their wetsuits are okay to wear; but give them one with a tiger, giraffe, lady bird, cow, bumble bee, zebra or leopard print on a bold-coloured neoprene and it lightens them up and inspires them to go outside and enjoy the water for longer.

For parents, being able to spot (visibility) their children among a crowd of youngsters wearing black, blue and grey wetsuits can be a challenge and a worrisome scenario. With Saltskin's selection of bold colours and animal print patterns, your kids will surely stand out and easy to locate not just by you, but by lifeguards as well. If any mishap happens at the beach or in the water and you're a bit far from your child's location, a lifeguard or any parent or adult will easily spot your child and go straight to his/her direction.

Toddlers will also be easier to spot among the taller children especially if they love the water as much as the others. Most parent are keen on not letting their young child play in the water because of safety issues; so, letting their tots wear the brightly coloured and patterned Saltskin shorties adds an extra layer of safety and precaution in this case. Even if the child is just playing on the sand, this somehow helps ease the worries of parents.

Saltskin may be a young brand, but the people behind it understand the need for children to wear quality wetsuits that offer long-lasting comfort, UV protection and visibility. If you're a parent with a water-loving kid in tow, choosing the ideal surf/swim wear is vital to your child's performance and visibility on water and land.
