Fallen is a world-renowned skate shoe brand which was founded in 2003 by pro skater Jamie Thomas. The brand has introduced some of the coolest and most popular shoes such as "The Clipper", "The Rival", "Forte", "Trooper" and "The Patriot". During its peak, Fallen had 17 shoe models in over 50 colours.
For over a decade, the brand was headquartered in California until the announcement of its closure in April 2016. Jamie Thomas mentioned on the brand's website that they rather bow out from the ever-increasing difficulties of being in the skate shoe industry despite working with skate shops and supporting skateboarding with everything they do.
By 2015, the Fallen team riders included founder Jamie Thomas, Brian "Slash" Hansen, Tommy Sandoval, Jon Dickson, Tony Cervantes and Dane Burman. These skaters have been featured in the brand's various videos including "Ride the Sky" and "Roads Less Traveled".
The press release in early 2018 for the relaunch of Fallen after almost two years of being out of the market is one of the better news about the brand. The company's trademark and social media accounts have been acquired by Town Connection, an investment group based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The company is quite familiar with the action sports industry andthey have been a licensee of Fallen in the previous years. They also hold one of the best international licenses of O'Neill, as well as carrying other skate accessories and footwear brands.
Town Connection aims to provide fairly priced shoes for consumers. Their approach involves setting up inventive collaborative enterprise model with licensees in significant and multifaceted markets, and working directly with big retailers (online and offline) in various territories.
Recently, the company was involved in the ISPO in Munich where they put together a booth to reach out to international partners. They have received positive feedback from Asian and European industry players, and management is keen on finding the ideal partner in the U.S. where Fallen has the highest recognition.
The re-launch may have taken a while, but Fallen is set to continue its skate heritage through producing skate shoes and apparel with amazing brand recognition and superior quality. So, if you have been a fan of this amazing skate and street wear brand, it's time to look into their latest collection of footwear and apparel.Order right here at Yakwax and enjoy our superb FREE UK delivery!
